Genul epic:

• include texte in care sentimentele, gandurile, valorile si viziunea despre lume ale autorului sunt exprimate indirect
• intamplarile, cu o anumita semnificatie, sunt puse pe seama unor personaje si povestite de un narator

Povestirea - definitie

Caracteristicile povestirii sunt:

• specie a genului epic
• dimensiuni relativ reduse
• numar mic de personaje
• actiune limitata in timp si spatiu
• se acorda importanta naratorului si modului in care acesta povesteste
• este scrisa la persoana I
